the technical document specialist develops‚ illustrates‚ writes and edits material for operator’s manuals‚ parts and service manuals‚ instructions‚ decals‚ product reports and related publications for genie products.

qualifications:

skills

• experience in technical and editorial writing‚ and knowledge of technical illustration. proficient use of grammar‚ spelling and syntax.
• a basic knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
• excellent verbal and written communication skills. able to read engish.
• the ability to convert an *** of product documentation into sequenced‚ deive and illustrative text.
• a wo***ng knowledge of industrial products‚ components and processes is desired.
computer skills
• microsoft office‚ pagemaker‚ acrobat‚ corel 10‚ solidworks‚ autocad‚ database publishing software
experience
• two years of technical writing in a manufacturing environment or related experience is preferred.
education/training
• associates degree in computer aided drafting or equivalent.
